Trained NAMI volunteers bring peer-led programs to your community. With the unique understanding of people with lived experience, these programs provide outstanding free education, skills training and support.
NAMI Family-To-Family is a free, 8-week course for family members and friends of people with a mental health condition. Through the course, participants will discover problem solving techniques and communications skills, learn how to advocate for their loved ones, gain up-to-date information about mental health, and find community support among their peers.
- Open to adult (18+) family members and friends of people who live with mental illness
- Mutli-Sessions education course
- Free of cost to participants
- Taught by trained family members of people living with mental illness
- Includes presentations, interactive exercises and group discussions.

NAMI Peer-To-Peer is a free, 8-week educational program focusing on mental health, wellness and recovery for anyone experiencing a mental health challenge. Whether you are trying to manage relationships, overcome the stigma, or create a routine, NAMI Peer-To-Peer provides the opportunity to learn new skills and share ideas with other that have similar experiences.
- Open to adults 18+ living with a mental health challenge
- Meets for 8 sessions
- Free of cost to participants
- Guided by peers who successfully manage their own recovery and wellness
- No specific medical therapy or medication is endorsed or recommended
